Final Presentation (December 22, Online) of a COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) workshop for High School Students and Japanese Language Learners – call for Spectators
Learn and think about “water”, and express ideas in animation!
13 high school students from Japan, China, the Philippines, and 4 college student leaders will present their results of 3 months of online dialogue, exploration, and collaboration beginning this September.
“Water” is essential to life, but it can also cause diverse problems and conflicts.
How do high school and college students living in different regions and with multiple cultural backgrounds perceive “water” and imagine a future with “water”?
In this workshop, which has been ongoing since 2021, the participants use not only Japanese, but also visual expressions such as illustrations and onomatopoeia, as well as AI translation. All participants enjoy working collaboratively with experts.
3 groups are currently making progress remotely, creating animated messages and preparing their presentations.
Please participate in the final presentation of the “Water” message animation as a result of COIL.
